The project involved the extension of an office building located just a few steps from Castel Sant’Angelo, through the construction of a new floor of approximately 200 m² using a dry-assembled steel structure. At the same time, the intervention lightened the overall volume of the building by removing slabs and accumulated materials that had weighed it down over time, restoring a more slender and harmonious character in contrast to the compositional variety typical
of 1970s architecture. The project also includes the installation of an elevator with dedicated access, while the overall restyling began with the entrance hall and will progressively extend to the upper floors.

Il progetto ha riguardato l’ampliamento di un edificio per uffici situato a pochi passi da Castel Sant’Angelo, attraverso la costruzione di un nuovo piano di circa 200 m² con struttura in acciaio assemblata a secco. Allo stesso tempo, l’intervento ha alleggerito il volume complessivo dell’edificio, rimuovendo solette e materiali accumulati che lo avevano appesantito nel tempo, restituendogli un carattere più snello e armonioso, in contrasto con la varietà compositiva tipica dell’architettura degli anni ’70. Il progetto prevede anche l’installazione di un ascensore con accesso dedicato, mentre il restyling complessivo è iniziato dall’atrio e si estenderà progressivamente ai piani superiori.
